Hi, I’m Qian Liu — a visual storyteller and producer working across photography and videography.

I’ve always been drawn to images and videos — the way light, space, and movement can shape how we feel and understand the world.

I have seven years of hands-on experience operating professional studio equipment across small to mid-scale productions. This includes setting up and operating DSLR, mirrorless, and RED cameras, managing continuous and strobe lighting, DMX system for controlled studio environments, and handling on-set audio using lavalier and shotgun microphones.

I’m comfortable troubleshooting common technical issues on the fly and adjusting setups based on talent, space, and production needs. In studio settings, I’ve also worked within established workflows for file management, monitoring, and handoff, ensuring footage and audio are properly captured and ready for post-production.
